DetailsOur book is open for 2023, many weeks have already been booked. Note: NO SENIOR WEEK RENTALS. Our property manager only rents over 25. Our kids stayed in the motels S of 33rd st or back on Robin Drive.
Recent Improvements: We have renovated the master bathroom with a great tiled shower and modern fittings, replaced the front door and added a Keurig for single cups of great coffee (you bring the pods), we replaced bedding in master BR and put up a flat screen TV in 2nd BR
Also, we do not list this unit on Craigs List, we have been alerted to past fraudulent listings on that site.
At Sandpiper Dunes, you are located in a quiet mid town location in an oceanfront building with outdoor pool. Even better, with a first floor location, you are only steps away from close-in parking, pool and beach, avoiding the elevator. Numerous great restaurants and attractions are within a short walk or drive, making this the perfect spot for families, both young and old.
Our unit is on the side of the building you can see the ocean from the balcony and master bedroom. Inside, the 1200 sq ft unit sleeps up to 8 with a MBR Queen, 2 double beds in BR2, and a pullout couch. Ceiling fans keep the ocean breezes going inside, and the unit has been updated over recent years with HDTV (living room and master BR), wi-fi and renovated bathrooms. A fully stocked and completely renovated kitchen makes you feel at home. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, air conditioning , balcony, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker complete the amenities.
We have two reserved parking spots on our lot, one is very close to the entrance. And, the Ocean City beach patrol has maintained a handicap access wheelchair at the beach entrance - it is a fairly easy process to borrow the wheelchair from the beach patrol. Speak direct to the owner not a rental agent. Every year we are improving. It looks like a completely new place! We have 3 digital TV's (living room and both bedrooms) along with wi-fi. We have invested tens of thousands in our place the last few years, in recent years we have renovated our place nearly top to bottom with a new kitchen, new furniture and laminate flooring in LR/DR, and renovation of the 2nd bedroom with new beds and new carpet in both bedrooms.

Note - we are getting increasing requests for guys or girls weekends with groups of 5 to 8 people. Our unit is not really the proper size for your group - we have 4 beds and 2 bathrooms, it would be a tight squeeze. When you have that many people, you really need a 3 bedroom unit or multiple motel rooms. We want all our guests to be comfortable and you really would be bumping into each other.....
Making a reservation: When you make a reservation, in addition to the base unit cost there are the following mandatory fees and taxes: 11% sales and hotel tax, $60 insurance fee, mandatory linens rental of $135 & ~$120 processing fee. This covers the cost of the property manager to process your reservation, credit card processing, and other administration costs
Payment terms: - When we make the initial contract with you, we will have you work with our property manager - they will ask for a credit card to hold your reservation - Then we will send you the contract, you are requested to sign and return the contract within 7 to 10 days and pay additional money to get to a 50% payment of the total rental - You can make this payment by check or credit card. - The remainder of the payment is dues 30 days before check in. Only checks are accepted, not credit cards
Optional fees- There is trip insurance available at 6.75% of the total cost of the reservation. You may wish to consider this for possible medical cancellations or for later season rentals when hurricanes are more likely. We (the owner and property manager) do not refund your costs due to weather or medial related trip cancellations - The linen rental service – your sheets and towels will be delivered to the unit, you still need to make up the beds. The linens will be picked up after your departure.
