Every spring, the Great Delaware Kite Festival brings families, kite enthusiasts, and spectators together for a day of high-flying fun at Cape Henlopen State Park. Held annually on Good Friday, this beloved event—co-sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation—features kite-flying competitions, an Easter Egg Hunt, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny!
