Let your child dive into the excitement of a free robotics workshop on January 12th at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort. This 2.5-hour hands-on session introduces kids aged 7–14 to the world of robotics and coding in a fun, interactive environment.
Agenda:
- For Children: A 60-minute session with hands-on exercises, quizzes, and coding basics, followed by group activities and networking.
- For Parents: Gain insights into the program, meet the team, and connect with other parents while enjoying light refreshments.

Head to Del Vets Post #2 for a fun and friendly Blues Jam, hosted by the Central Delaware Blues Society. Musicians and vocalists of all abilities are invited to take the stage and play with others in a welcoming environment. The jam starts at 8 PM, following the host band’s opening set. No cost to attend or participate, but a donation at the door is appreciated.
Del Vets Post #2 also has food available from 6-7:30 PM and a bar open throughout the event.
Winter Workshop Series: Terrariums

Join the Winter Workshop Series to create your very own glass container terrarium. You’ll receive all the tools and materials needed, and you even have the option to bring your own glass container to make it extra personal. The workshop costs $30 to cover materials and lasts for one hour.

Chocolate 5K Run/Walk

Join the annual Delaware Tech Terry Campus Chocolate 5K Run/Walk for a fun and sweet event that’s perfect for the whole family! Participants can choose between an in-person race or a virtual option.
Event Highlights:
- A custom event T-shirt designed by Delaware Tech students.
- A post-event celebration featuring chocolate treats prepared by culinary arts students.
- Awards for overall winners and the top finishers in various categories.

Old State House: Ampersand

Experience a free concert by Easton-based folk and traditional string band Ampersand at the Old State House.
