Get ready to lace up your running shoes and take in the scenic beauty of the Brandywine River at Hagley’s Seventh Annual 5K/1K Run/Walk, happening Saturday, April 26, 2025! Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or looking for a fun family activity, this event is the perfect way to stay active while supporting a great cause.
Race Details & Registration
- 5K Run/Walk – $25 registration fee through March 23, then $35 starting March 24.
- 1K Family Fun Run – $15 registration fee.
- Race Start Times:
- 5K begins at 8:30 a.m.
- 1K Family Fun Run starts at 9:00 a.m.
- Awards Ceremony: 9:30 a.m. near the finish line.
- Location: Hagley Museum, 298 Buck Road, Wilmington, DE (Library and Soda House Entrance).
Why Run? Support Student Field Trips!
Proceeds from the event help fund free field trips for students from underserved schools, allowing young learners to experience hands-on history and STEM education at Hagley Museum. Thanks to past participants, over 2,100 students have had the opportunity to explore Hagley’s historic grounds!
