Bonfire Nights Are Back in Dewey Beach!

Nothing says summer like a bonfire by the ocean.

Every Wednesday night from June 18 through August 20, head down to the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey Beach. Starting at 7:00 PM, you’ll find the fire crackling, the sun setting, and families and friends gathering for one of the season’s best traditions.

Here’s what makes it special:

  • Bring a beach chair and get cozy on the sand

  • Snag a glow necklace for a $1 donation (while they last!)

  • Roast marshmallows for another $1 donation, or bring your own

  • Bathrooms are available at the Lifesaving Station nearby

It’s simple, it’s relaxing, and it’s completely free to attend—thanks to the folks at the Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber of Commerce. Those small donations? They help keep the fires burning all summer long.
