What It Is
- Summer Fun for the Whole Family: Dewey Beach’s Summer Movie & Bonfire Program, brought to you by the Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, is a perfect way to spend summer evenings with your family.
Movie Nights
- Family Movie Night: Bring your family and beach chairs to Dewey Beach for a delightful movie night under the stars!
- Location and Time: Movies start at approximately 8:30 PM on the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey.
- Admission: Free! Glow necklaces are available for a $1 donation to keep the movies rolling.

Bonfire Nights
- S’MORE Fun: Enjoy bonfires on the beach every Wednesday night!
- Location and Time: Bonfires are from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey.
- Donations: Glow sticks and marshmallows are available for a $1 donation. Roasting sticks are provided and should be returned after use.
- Schedule: Every Wednesday from June 19th through August 21st.
Accessibility
- Beach Access: Dewey Beach provides beach access mats at nearly all dune entrances (except Chicago Street), making it easier for everyone to enjoy the beach.
- Beach Wheelchair Rental: Free beach wheelchair rentals are available during the summer season. For more information or to reserve a wheelchair, click here.
Weather Information
- Inclement Weather: Events are weather-dependent. Cancellations will be posted on the Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Instagram and Facebook pages:
- Movies: Decision by 7:00 PM on the day of the event.
- Bonfires: Decision by 6:00 PM on the day of the event.
- Afterhours Information: Call the Chamber at (302) 227-2233 for updates.
