The Kent County Department of Public Safety is excited to announce the launch of its 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, titled “Thanksgiving For Everyone.” This year, the food drive will take place on Wednesday, November 6th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Redner’s Warehouse Market, located at 25 Greentree Drive, Dover. The event invites residents and local businesses to come together and contribute non-perishable food items to help those in need during the holiday season.
How to Donate
Donations can be dropped off at the Paramedic trailer parked outside of Redner’s on November 6th. Additionally, you can contribute by bringing items to the Kent County Administrative Complex at 555 Bay Road, Dover, from October 17th to November 4th.

What’s Needed
The following items are especially needed:
- Canned vegetables
- Cranberry sauce
- Evaporated milk
- Canned pumpkin
- Canned fruit
- Juice
- Corn muffin mix
- Mashed potatoes
- Gravy
- Any other non-perishable items that can help ensure a festive Thanksgiving meal for families in need.
