Get Creative at the 3rd Annual Tiny Art Contest & Show!
Calling all young artists and families! The South Coastal Library is excited to host the 3rd Annual Tiny Art Contest & Show, where your little one can turn a 4″x4″ canvas into their very own masterpiece! With four fun age groups to join and prizes for each division, it’s a great opportunity to let those imaginations soar!
There is no theme, and you may use your own materials to decorate the canvas if you prefer.
Photography and computer-generated artwork will not be accepted.
Important Dates:
- Registration opens October 1 and ends November 1, 2024 (or until full).
- Artwork Display: January 10 through February 28, 2025, in the library.
How to Join: Simply register and pick up your free take-home art kit (available starting November 2), which includes a small blank canvas and either acrylic paints/brushes (ages 8+) or safe, non-toxic paint markers (ages 6-8). Plus, additional paint colors are available at the library!
Age Divisions:
- Adults (18+)
- Teens (13-17)
- Preteens (9-12)
- Children (6-8)
Prizes include Michaels Gift Cards and art supplies for the top three winners in each category, plus a People’s Choice Award!
