She also earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a Marketing concentration and Spanish minor from James Madison University, where she studied abroad at the University of Salamanca in Spain.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Parsons is actively engaged in various local charities and service projects. She has volunteered with organizations such as the Epworth Soup Kitchen, the Pennsylvania Alliance for Labor Support, the Rehoboth Art League, and the Jefferson Honickman Breast Imaging Center at Thomas Jefferson University.
