Rehoboth Beach is a small, yet rapidly growing city located on Delaware’s central coast and home to one of the state’s most popular beaches. The town has many historic Victorian buildings and a lively nightlife scene.

It’s the First State’s third-largest city and is a popular summer destination. Home to the University of Delaware, as well as some excellent restaurants and shopping. Delaware Seashore State Park

One of several state parks scattered inside the First State, Delaware Seashore sits between the Atlantic Ocean where the sun rises at dawn, and the Indian River Bay where it sets at dusk (the Atlantic to the east and the IRB to the west, if that wasn’t clear). And as its proximity to those might imply, it’s one of the great places for water activities.

It’s not a small state park, either, with an area of 2,825 acres, there’s enough space inside for all those activities (and there are a lot of them). Yes, you can camp there, too.

You can read up on more about this state park and its long list of activities here

Tanger Outlets

One of the things Delaware has over most other states is tax-free shopping! Like an item for $4.99 literally sells for $4.99 with none of those sneaky hidden fees that push the price over the innocuous price tag. Nope! None of that in the First State! And what better way to enjoy this perk than to experience it? We’ve got the perfect place for this (and you!).

Looking for new shoes? Take a look! Accessories? Check. Clothing, you say? Got you covered. And best of all, tax-free! Shop to your heart’s content. There’s even a shuttle to help you get around? Shopping’s never been this easy. Give it a try!

Where to find them? Route 1’s beaches are right by.

Midway Speedway Park

What’s that? You’re not a beach person and prefer something fast and exciting? No problem, there! We got you covered. How about… a fun track of kart racing? In Delaware? Yes, really!

Midway Speed Park is part of a much larger complex, with its main thing being kart racing! Channel your inner Mario Kart (just a bit!) and race along five different courses. There’s even the twin cart option in some for those who prefer to share their rides. Or you can drive solo and blaze around the track. Up to you.

And once you’re done, you can also visit the mini-golf and water parks attraction. And speaking of water parks…

Jungle Jim’s

We have the last item on the list! But it’s definitely not the least one. Why, it’s only the largest water park in the First State, Jungle Jim’s!

So it’s the biggest, big deal. There’s gotta be more, right? What’s so special about it, you say?

A kiddie pool? “Eh, standard,” you’ll probably say.

How about a lazy river? Too boring?

A wave pool? Too much like the sea, you say? That’s sort of the point, but alright.

How about this? It also has the bumper patrol boats! If you’re thinking bumper cars on water, you’re right!

But here’s the best part: add to that… a mounted water gun (yes, REALLY) to have the biggest splash fight of all time! Until you get a bigger group then it begins all over again! What better way to have a blast with your friends and family?

What’re you waiting for? Visit now!
