Kent County Paramedics Host 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive: “Thanksgiving For Everyone”

This holiday season, the Kent County Department of Public Safety is once again making a difference with its 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Titled “Thanksgiving For Everyone,” the drive aims to ensure that all families in the community can enjoy a warm and hearty Thanksgiving meal.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 6th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Redner’s Warehouse Market, located at 25 Greentree Drive, Dover, DE. Local residents and businesses are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items at the Paramedic trailer, which will be parked outside the store.

According to John Tinger, Assistant Director of the Department of Public Safety, “The Thanksgiving Food Drive is vital because it embodies the true spirit of the holiday – coming together to support our neighbors and ensuring everyone can share in the abundance and warmth of the season.”

In addition to the event on November 6th, donations can also be dropped off at the Kent County Administrative Complex, 555 Bay Road, Dover, from October 17th through November 4th.

  • Evaporated milk
